In our experience, the biggest challenge isn't keeping intellectual content up-to-date with the latest theories from business academics. EDP faculty already come prepared with the latest research on the most innovative management ideas and best business practices. Instead, the biggest challenge with custom programs is keeping the program content aligned with each client's evolving business strategy and changing industry dynamics. What drives these can range from: a new competitive threat (such as two industry competitors combining); a change in the executive suite (which can usher in new strategic priorities); or an emergent industry trend (such as changing consumer trends) - to name a few. We take as an important program dimension the client's articulation of the sponsoring organization's business strategy. This is the current business context in which we have to ensure the program will equip participants to develop, practice and fine-tune their leadership and management behaviors to accomplish those particular business objectives. So we continually stay abreast of the underlying business fundamentals to ensure that program content remains aligned with your business strategy over time.
